Description: The Digisat PRO is a semi-professional quality in-line meter. The visual indication is by way of an LCD display showing a Bar Graph. It has a selectable tone generator that varies in pitch relative to the signal strength. The main advantage over it’s less expensive rival’s is the high sensitivity and no user adjustment of sensitivity. It simply has a Bar Graph read out from 0-100. There is also a peak-hold facility showing the highest signal received (useful if you move the dish too far). Not only can you easily find a Satellite, you can distinguish between them. When locating the Satellite it is possible to lock on to the wrong one as there are three positioned within 16° of each other. Each Satellite system transmitts at a different signal strength. The level of sensitivity and the peak-hold display of this meter allows you to distinguish between them ensureing location of the correct Satellite quickly and easily. |
