Description: Avtex have introduced the 12v STH-1000 TV Aerial to compliment the market leading Avtex W193D, Avtex W153D, Avtex W102D and indeed the rest of the Avtex range of 12 volt LCD flat screen TV's.
The STH1000 aerial is a high gain powered aerial requiring 12 volts DC to operate. If you have one of the latest Avtex TV's such as a W153D then the TV can provide the STH1000 with 12v DC through the aerial cable by simply changing an on screen setting. If your chosen 12v TV is not an Avtex one then the aerial is also supplied with a 12v lead terminated in a 12v cigar type plug.
Avtex have given several mounting options with the STH-1000 aerial. It is supplied with a bracket for permanent fixing to the body of your Caravan or Motorhome. If you prefer to mount a pole to the jockey wheel of your caravan there is also a "U" bolt fixing. The most popular method of mounting though is to use the supplied suction foot and flexible goose neck. This can be used on smooth body work or even your Caravan/Motorhomes window.
We have tried the Avtex STH-1000 aerial in several locations with various surroundings and found that whilst it didn't receive quite as many channels as the PU-4 pole mounted aerial , it is vastly superior to the factory fitted aerial on our own caravan. The various mounting options and excellent performance coupled with a fantastic price means you must seriously consider an Avtex STH-1000 for your Caravan, Motorhome, Boat or Truck. |
