In October 2012 the R.O.I. turned off Analogue Terrestrial TV Broadcasts and therefore now only have a Digital TV service. The Broadcast Standard chosen by the Irish Authorities is different to the rest of Europe and as such any Standard Definition TV's bought in the UK or else where in Europe will not work in Ireland.

You can watch British and European programmes via satellite whilst in R.O.I. but not RTE.

If you have a normal TV and want to watch Irish Broadcasters such as RTE then you will need to purchase an Irish set top box in Ireland. Thier equivalent to Feeview is called Saorview.

How to Order

Orders can be placed in two ways, either using our on line shopping cart or alternatively by telephone during office hours ( 0845 387 6513 Mon-Fri 9am-5pm ). Payments can be made by Debit or Credit Card. On line payments are made through a secure server with industry standard encryption of your payment details; orders received on line will be confirmed by e-mail. On acceptance of your order a delivery schedule will be confirmed and all orders placed will be subject to our normal Terms and Conditions.

IMPORTANT:

We do not have export facilities and therefore only supply the UK Mainland, Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, Isle of Wight & the Isle of Man. We do NOT supply the Channel Islands or any other territories/countries & all charges include VAT at the current rate.

PRICING:

We endeavour to maintain published prices however we reserve the right to change prices at any time. All prices quoted include V.A.T. at the current rate unless otherwise stated. When your order has been processed, a receipted invoice will be sent with the goods or by Royal Mail post. All prices quoted are in £'s Sterling.

PRICE MATCH GUARANTEE

We offer our products at competitive prices and what we believe to be the best overall value when taking sales advice, after sales service and carriage charges into account. If however you find an identical product on offer from one of our competitors at a lower price we offer a price match guarantee. Details of which are as follows:

  1. The other supplier must be based in the UK and be an official / approved dealer for that product.
  2. The item must be in stock.
  3. Carriage and other terms must be the same.
  4. We do not price match on-line auction sites or against "Buy it now" offers.

If you do find an identical product at a lower price, please contact our sales department with the following information:

  1. The item model number.
  2. Details of the web site address.
  3. The offer price including carriage charges.
  4. Your name and contact details.

We will invariably match the offer and where possible we will try to beat it.

ERRORS & OMISSIONS:

Specifications and prices may change at any time. Photos or other graphical images may not be to scale and are shown for guidance only. Sizes and weights are shown in metric and are usually taken from manufacturers / distributors brochures. The pictures shown on television screens are simulated for photographic purposes.

In the event of a product being listed at an incorrect price or if we receive an increase from our suppliers we reserve the right to decline any orders placed prior to a contract being agreed.

SHIPPING & HANDLING

Orders with a value of £99.99 (inc. V.A.T.) or less will be subject to a standard handling charge of £10.00.

Orders with a value of £100.00 (inc. V.A.T.) or above will receive a rebate of the standard handling charge (£10.00). In the event that you should return an order that has received a rebate of the standard handling charge we reserve the right to deduct the handling charge from any agreed refund.

The above handling charges are applicable for most UK addresses however our carriers in line with industry practice may impose a surcharge to deliver to some addresses. These are usually: Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands, the Isle of Man & the Isle of White. If your address is one subject to a surcharge by our carriers we reserve the right to pass on any extra charges and will advise you of the surcharge before your order is processed. At this point you will have the option to cancel the order and receive a full refund or accept the extra delivery costs.

We do not supply the Channel Islands or other Countries/Territories.

Orders are despatched as soon as reasonably possible. Our normal despatch schedule is available on our delivery details page full details available by clicking Delivery Schedule . Your delivery will need to be signed for upon receipt.

On receipt of your order please sign the carriers delivery note "unchecked" and make a note of any obvious damage or discrepancies in the box count. Please open and check your order thoroughly as soon as possible and do not dispose of any packaging until you are entirely satisfied with the goods.

Please note that we shall not be liable for any costs, charges, damages, expenses or losses caused by any delay in delivering your order that are beyond our reasonable control.

Time Limitation for Notification of Claims:

Damage in Transit:

If goods arrive in a damaged condition you should make a note on the carrier's delivery note and it is your responsibility to inform us within two working days.

Shortages:

It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages shown on the carrier's delivery note. Any shortages must be noted on the delivery note and it is your responsibility to inform us within two working days.

Incorrect Goods:

It is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect goods supplied within two working days.

BACK ORDERS:

If your chosen item(s) are not in stock we will back order for you and advise you of an anticipated delivery schedule whilst also giving you the option to cancel your order if you prefer not to wait.

TAX CHARGES:

All prices quoted include V.A.T. at the current rate unless otherwise stated.

WARRANTY:

All goods are covered by a 12 month* parts and labour guarantee unless otherwise stated. The guarantee is in relation to manufacturing faults and faulty components and excludes: Accidental damage, Damage caused by Misuse, General Wear and Tear, Cosmetic damage and Consumables such as Batteries.

Should a product develop a fault outside the guarantee period or if a fault is due to fair wear and tear, misuse or negligence there may be a charge for repairing the product and for carriage costs.

Should you experience difficulty with a product, please contact our after sales department to discuss your problem. We can usually resolve most problems by 'phone, E-mail or letter. In the unlikely event that a product needs to be inspected/repaired by an nengineer we will advise you of your returns authorisation number and the appropriate procedure for your particular item (some manufacturers/distributors handle repairs direct).

PRIVACY POLICY:

We at 12v TV Limited are committed to protecting your privacy. The information collected about you is used solely for the purpose of processing your order and may be used in the future to advise you of new products and special offers,unless you have opted out of our marketing programme.

Disclosure of Information:

12v TV Limited does not communicate in any way personal information to others, with one exception. On some occasions, goods may be despatched directly from our suppliers. In such circumstances they will be trusted companies and they will only be provided with information sufficient to facilitate delivery. We do not store or disclose customer card details to any third parties.

RETURNS POLICY:

If you are not entirely satisfied with a product purchased from us by mail order, you may return it to us within ten days for a replacement or refund. This satisfaction guarantee is only applicable if the following conditions have been met:

The product is returned unused and undamaged within ten days of the date of purchase.

The product is returned with ALL accessories, manuals and packaging.

The product, all of its accessories and the packaging have not been damaged, mistreated or altered in any way; i.e. plugs removed/changed.

In the event that you should wish to return a product to us please advise us of your intention and ensure you package the item(s) adequately as we can not be held responsible for any damage in transit. We therefore recommend that you insure the parcel. All costs involved in returning the item(s) will be the responsibility of the customer.
