12 volt Televisions

We are often asked if the only difference between the Television's we sell and standard domestic ones is that they can work from 12v. Unfortunately it is not that simple! Yes the 12v TV's we sell can be powered from a 12v leisure battery system in your Caravan Motorhome or Boat but there are also many other differences. We have included some useful information lower down the page.

Using a TV in a Caravan or Motorhome involves getting to the camp site in a vehicle subjecting it to a great deal of vibration and harshness therefore the first thing is the quality of the components and build quality.

The 12 volt Caravan/Motorhome Television combi's we sell have very high grade screens. This has many advantages one of which is the veiwing angle. In a Campervan or Caravan most of us sit either side of the 'van so you are normally looking at the TV from an acute angle compared to your lounge where the TV tends to be angled towards your seating position.

Most peoples biggest niggle with TVs in a Motorhome or Caravan is setting it up when you arrive on site.
