Digital TV Switch Over
In October 2012 the R.O.I. turned off Analogue Terrestrial TV Broadcasts and therefore now only have a Digital TV service. The Broadcast Standard chosen by the Irish Authorities is different to the rest of Europe and as such any Standard Definition TV's bought in the UK or else where in Europe will not work in Ireland.
You can watch British and European programmes via satellite whilst in R.O.I. but not RTE.
If you have a normal TV and want to watch Irish Broadcasters such as RTE then you will need to purchase an Irish set top box in Ireland. Thier equivalent to Feeview is called Saorview.

B-Tech Flip Down Bracket Description
The B-Tech (BT7525) flip down bracket is VESA compatible and is ideal for mounting your 12 volt LCD/LED TV underneath a shelf or a cupboard. The TV folds up horizontal when not in use and can be folded down then rotated to give various veiwing angles. It is supplied with a spacer that allows the TV to still be rotated when your cupboards have a trim pelmet. The VESA mounting plate has 50/75/100mm spaced holes to fit a variety of 12 Volt Televisions and the position can be adjusted to suit the height of your particular TV.
IMPORTANT! - PLEASE NOTE
The latest generation of "Ultra Slim" TVs are considerably slimmer than conventional LCD TVS. Care should be taken when mounting your TV on a bracket that you use bolts of an appropriate length for your particular installation as using bolts that are too long may bend/crack the motherboard of your TV resulting in an expensive repair.
